Riding the California Coast: The Beachside Moto Club Experience

Beachside Moto Club (BMC) is a motorcycle club based in Santa Monica, California, founded in 2021. With a team of 20 members, BMC hosts monthly Saturday group motorcycle rides that bring together a diverse and inclusive community of motorcyclists.

The rides typically attract between 100 and 150 motorcyclists and begin at a local mom-and-pop coffee shop where riders can socialize and meet new friends. From there, the group takes a parade ride to a different local establishment each month, where riders can celebrate and have lunch together in fun and welcoming atmosphere.

BMC is focused on creating a community-oriented experience for motorcyclists and provides a friendly and social environment for riders to find camaraderie and enjoy the sport together. Whether you are a seasoned rider or just getting started, BMC's rides offer an excellent opportunity to meet other riders and explore new routes and destinations.

Adam Plax Co-Founder of BMC Adam Plax, 27, currently resides in Culver City, CA, and is a High School Basketball Coach at Shalhevet High School and a personal basketball youth trainer. In his off time, he manages Beachside Moto Club as the primary event planner, co-host, and social media manager. His motorcycle journey started in 2021 at his family home in Kernville. After going on a coastal trip with his father on their motorcycles, he was driven to get more involved in the motorcycle community. After being inspired by events like VVMC Sunday rides, LA Moto Social, and other motorcycle events, he leaped with Franco to create Beachside Moto Club, which has grown beyond expectations. He owns a 2020 Triumph T-120 Bud Ekins edition and a 1975 BMW R75/6.

Franco Factory Co-Founder of BMC Franco, 31, is an Angelino passionate about all things motorcycles.
