After graduating from UCLA with a degree in Business, Lovett pursued his passion for journalism by taking a job at the L.A. Times as a sportswriter. Eventually, he transitioned to the private sector in the technology field, but his love for storytelling never wavered. It was this love, combined with his desire to share the rich history and culture of Los Angeles with his son Felix, that led Lovett to start L.A. In A Minute.
